About Us

We are a family of avid readers and writers with four of us directly involved with the Duff Publishing venture. Before writing and publishing books, we posted much of our diverse interests online at one of our other sites, Innvista. Our family has lived and worked together for many years in Canada, United States, and Mexico.

Authors

The principal writer is Duane Duff, a retired school teacher, who has written or compiled seven books, including his autobiography. He is currently working on a couple more books.

Duane's wife, Pamela, is a health consultant and registered nurse and is working on a book herself. The two of them have teamed up for a book project about the Green Timbers Urban Forest in Surrey and should be ready for publication in 2011.

Martha Arévalo de Duff, a child psychologist and educator, is Duane and Pamela's daughter-in-law. She has written two books in Spanish and is currently working on a couple more, a vegetarian cookbook and her autobiography. She and her husband have two teenage sons.

Duff Publishing also works with other authors from around the world. Their works will soon take their respective places in our list of books in print, while one already there! (see Creative Recycling)

Editor / Publisher

Sean Duff, Martha's husband, is the editor and publisher of the family, and the one operating the business side of the family project, including the maintenance of this website. He was the one who introduced the family to the concept of self-publishing in 2004 when he compiled a series of short stories written by Duane, who had longed to be a writer.
